SUMMARY:Online Workshop on Best Practices on NEEAP Monitoring and Evaluation Tools & Mechanisms
DESCRIPTION:In the framework of the Mitigation Enabling Energy Transition in the Mediterranean Region (meetMED) project, funded by the European Union, ADEME (the French Ecological Transition Agency) and RCREEE organized an Online Workshop about” Best Practices on NEEAP Monitoring and Evaluation Tools & Mechanisms” on December 15th, 2022, 9:00 – 13:00 CET.\nNational Energy Efficiency Action Plans (NEEAP) become a strategic national plan framework, helping Arab countries to apply Energy Efficiency goals. NEEAPs are concerned with successful transitions of the Arab energy market towards decarbonization, increasing Energy Efficiency, in addition to ensuring the dissemination of well-implemented policies and strategic, innovative instruments for promoting energy efficiency.\nThe workshop aimed to maximize the benefits of knowledge from the international experience on NEEAP monitoring and evaluation tools and mechanisms.
