SUMMARY:1st Regional Workshop on Energy Efficiency Indicators for Maghreb’s Countries in Morocco
DESCRIPTION:The meetMED project, funded by the European Union,  in close collaboration with the French Agency for Ecological Transition (ADEME ( https://www.ademe.fr/en/frontpage/ )) and the Moroccan Agency for Energy Efficiency – AMEE ( https://www.amee.ma/en ) organized the 1st Regional Workshop on Energy Efficiency Indicators for Maghreb’s Countries from 13 – 14 February 2024 in Marrakech.\nThe workshop is part of meetMED II project activities related to implementing a common Regional Energy Observatory Database on energy efficiency indicators “MED’Observeer” in buildings and appliances.\nIt aimed to present and exchange best practices on the methodology for data collection and calculating energy efficiency indicators of the MED’Observeer regional platform. In addition to addressing the techniques used to analyze energy demand and energy efficiency trends in the Maghreb countries.\nThe expected outcomes:\n\nImprovement of the data collection process for the energy efficiency indicators of the Med platform\nGeneration of a wider range of energy efficiency indicators\nAbility to produce a more detailed analysis of energy efficiency trends for each of the Maghreb countries\nDevelopment of quantitative data on meetMED countries for the international comparative report on energy efficiency\n\nAGENDA\n
