DESCRIPTION:With the ongoing commitment of the meetMED project funded by the European Union, to fostering energy efficiency measures in the building and appliance sectors, the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE) is organizing a webinar entitled “Finance Navigator Pilot Launching & Training” on 29 October 2024 at 10:00 – 11:30 (CET Time). \nTaking inspiration from successful European initiatives, meetMED is establishing a finance navigator that serves as a comprehensive guide to understanding and accessing green finance for energy efficiency projects within the South and East Mediterranean Countries (SEMCs). This navigator provides guidance on financing mechanisms, national and international funds, and United Nations programs available to these regions.\nFurthermore, it offers methodological procedures for owners and developers of energy efficiency projects to apply for financing and incentives, emphasizing the importance of a well-prepared application that aligns with specified stages and common approaches to green energy financing.
