Organized by the Regional Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE ( https://rcreee.org )) for the third consecutive year, this edition proudly features MEDERNER as a strategic partner.\nThe conference included 15 discussion sessions that brought together experts, specialists, and decision-makers from Kuwait, Gulf countries, North African countries, the Middle East, and Europe. The focus was on the key opportunities and challenges posed by climate change, economic pressures, and countries’ commitments to sustainable development goals.\nOn the second day, meetMED took part at 5th UfM Energy and Climate Business Forum ( https://ufmsecretariat.org/5th-ufm-energy-and-climate-business-forum-forging-a-resilient-euro-mediterranean-gulf-partnership/ ), held on the sidelines of KSEW. This high-level event aimed to advance the sustainable energy transition and strengthen Euro–Mediterranean–Gulf cooperation on energy and climate action. The forum featured four thematic panel discussions addressing key aspects of the region’s energy and climate agenda.\nThe forum was indurated by H.E Anne Koistinen ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/anne-koistinen-440b0927/ ), EU Ambassador to the State of Kuwait; Grammenos Mastrojeni ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/grammenos-mastrojeni-4309223/ ), Senior Deputy Secretary General, Union for the Mediterranean ( https://ufmsecretariat.org/ );Dr. Zoheir Hamedi, Executive Director (RCREEE).\nDuring the session on Climate Resilience in the Mediterranean and Gulf, Milou Beerepoot ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/milou-beerepoot-b698266/ ), Programme Manager Regional Energy Programmes Neighbourhood South (European Commission), Roberta Bonoitti, the Sectary General of MEDENER ( https://www.medener.org/ ) addressed shared threats—particularly water scarcity and extreme weather. They promoted nature-based solutions, improved cross-border energy links, and underscored the need for transnational collaboration and knowledge-sharing to bolster regional resilience.\nIn addition to engaging discussions, the event featured an exhibition highlighting key actors from the public and private sectors involved in the environmental transition, along with representatives from civil society and international organizations.\nThe meetMED booth attracted many stakeholders, who acknowledged the project’s key achievements and connected with our delegation to learn about our initiatives fostering energy transition in the Mediterranean Region.\n\n
