Matteo BARRA
PROJECT MANAGER
Matteo’s main responsibility is to coordinate and monitor of the meetMED activities and to report to the European Commission on its implementation. Previously, Matteo worked as senior energy investment expert at the Energy Charter Secretariat and as senior arbitration associate with a large law firm in Geneva, where he acted in investment and commercial disputes concerning among others the electricity, gas and oil industry. Matteo holds a Ph.D. in International Economic Law (Bocconi) and an LL.M. in International Energy Law and Policy (CEPMLP).
Federica BRAZZODURO
ACCOUNTING OFFICER
Federica’s main responsibility is to take care of financial reporting and accounting activities. Her professional background includes experiences in both SMEs and Corporations in the Green Economy sector, especially taking care of drafting calls for proposal on energy and environment at European level. Federica holds a Master’s degree in International Relations with a specific focus on EU economics and finance and a Master in Law, Finance and Economics of International Trade. Federica also attended a Master Class in EU Project Management.
Alice GIALLOMBARDO
COMMUNICATION OFFICER
Alice’s main responsibility is pursuing all dissemination activities as well as preparing and implementing the Communication Plan. Previously, Alice worked for Enel GreenPower, the Private Sector Mechanism of the UN Committee on World Food Security (CFS) as well as for the Delegation of the European Union to the UN Agencies in Rome. She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomatic Affairs from the University of Bologna and a Second-Level Master Degree in European Economic Governance from the LUISS University in Rome.
Mohamed BADR
LOCAL ACCOUNTING OFFICER
Mohamed’s main responsibility is managing the financial activities’ deliverables and deadlines according to the project EU standards and procedures. Previously, he worked on EU, UNEP and UNDP projects related to environment development and privatization with a focus on accounting and procurement. Mr. Badr has also worked for Med-Eng Sytems, the Canadian Government and Pcubed Canada. Mohamed graduated in Political Science/Economics at the American University in Cairo, and in project management at Algonquin College and in Accounting and Finance at Ryerson university in Toronto, Canada.
