Socio-economist and policy framework analyst, A. Tsitsikalis graduated from the Institute of the Political Studies (IEP) of Paris and holds a master’s degree in Industrial development and project evaluation from the IEDES-Sorbonne in Paris. She has been working for 12 years for an international NGO, the GRET, both on the field – Mauritania (2006-2009) and Cambodia (2015-2017) – and in the headquarters, undertaking several missions on water, sanitation and solid waste management projects in several low-income countries in Africa and Asia. Since 2018, she has been working for the French Agency for Environment and Energy Management (ADEME), where she is responsible for regional cooperation in Mediterranean countries. Her skills are particularly focused on economic development, environmental issues and access to basic services in urban and semi-urban areas . Her fields of expertise are related to governance issues and policy implementation on environment related topics (governance, economic management, capacity building, transverse studies and diagnosis).
Federica’s main responsibility is to take care of financial reporting and accounting activities. Her professional background includes experiences in both SMEs and Corporations in the Green Economy sector, especially taking care of drafting calls for proposal on energy and environment at European level. Federica holds a Master’s degree in International Relations with a specific focus on EU economics and finance and a Master in Law, Finance and Economics of International Trade. Federica also attended a Master Class in EU Project Management.
Yasmeen main role is to support drafting and implementing meetMED II communication and dissemination plan. For over 8 years, Yasmeen has been handling promotional campaigns and outreach actives in 17 Arab states. Her areas of expertise include projects coordination (focused in youth, capacity building and gender in energy), communications, reporting and governance/ media liaison, as well as events management. Yasmeen holds a Bachelor degree in Political Science from Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences, Cairo University and a marketing diploma.
