The meetMED II “Mitigation Enabling Energy Transition in the Mediterranean region” project funded by the European Union, MEDENER, and RCREEE, in cooperation with BuildMe project is hosting a hybrid workshop “Unlocking the Financial Potential of Energy Efficiency in Buildings and Appliances” in Cairo on 17 September 2024 at 10:00 am Cairo time.
The “Unlocking the Financial Potential of Energy Efficiency in Buildings and Appliances” workshop aims to explore the role of climate finance in driving energy efficiency investments in these sectors. The workshop objectives are to identify innovative financing mechanisms and business models that can unlock private investment for energy efficiency projects, discuss strategies to overcome barriers and risks associated with financing energy efficiency, and showcase successful case studies and best practices in leveraging climate finance.
