The meetMED Week (MMW) is the largest annual event of the 2nd phase of the meetMED project (Mitigation Enabling Energy Transition in the Mediterranean region), funded by the European Union, which is dedicated to fostering regional cooperation for energy and climate transition in Southern Eastern Mediterranean Countries.
MEETMED WEEK LIVE 2024
The third edition, was held in Hammamet, Tunisia from 22 – 24 April 2024 under the main theme “Together Towards Efficient Buildings and Appliances in the Mediterranean.”

This year, MEETMED WEEK 2024 was hosted by the Tunisian National Agency for Energy Conservation – ANME in partnership with the Algerian National Agency for the Promotion and Rationalisation of Energy Use – APRUE ,as a hybrid event. Bringing together more than 250 energy experts representing officials, stakeholders, and policymakers from Tunisia, Algeria and from the Mediterranean region with the aim of promoting energy and climate transition.
The three days of high-level discussions resulted in formulating an insightful summary of takeaways messages based on the event and attendees’ experiences about the role of renewable energies and energy efficiency for the future EU- MENA cooperation.
