Located in the COP27 Blue zone, the RCREEE Pavilion will host relevant meetMED’s side events and working meetings that shall provide an exceptional opportunity to highlight and strengthen the implementation of energy efficiency measures in beneficiary countries focusing on the Building and the Appliances sectors. In addition to raising public awareness of the challenges and opportunities associated with this topic and increasing investments in these fields.

The first “meetMED Week” was organised, from March 28th 31st, 2022, in Cairo, Egypt. The event brought together many experts from the South and North Shore of the Mediterranean and resulted in the formulation of Key Messages, paving the way for COP27. Indeed, as the conference will take place in Sharm el-Sheikh a unique occasion to meet again in Egypt and re-insist on these Key Messages as well as to organise thematic side-events and Concerted Actions destined to decision-makers in order to keep on discussing how to accelerate the implementation of harmonised EE and RE measures.
