The Mitigation Enabling Energy Transition in the Mediterranean region (meetMED) project is an EU-funded project developed by the Mediterranean Association of the National Agencies for Energy Management (MEDENER), and the Regional Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE) will participate at the 27th edition of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27) hosted in the green city of Sharm El-Sheikh this year at the Sharm El-Sheikh International Convention Center (SHICC).

Located in the COP27 Blue Zone, the Mediterranean & RCREEE Pavilions will host relevant meetMED’s side events and working meetings (07th to 11th Nov.) that shall provide an exceptional opportunity to highlight and strengthen the implementation of energy efficiency measures in beneficiary countries focusing on the Building and the Appliances sectors. In addition to raising public awareness of the challenges and opportunities associated with this topic and increasing investments in these fields.
